Diablo 4 Stats & Attributes

Main Attributes

Each attribute gives a fixed bonus and a different bonus based on the class, for example Rogues will have main damage % multiplier tied to Dexterity as class specific bonus and 0,025% evasion chance per point as fixed bonus, Barbarians to Strength for damage as variable bonus and armor as fixed bonus for all classes and so on.

 

Strength – 1 armor per point

Intelligence – 0.05% all resist per point

Willpower – heal received 0.1% and 0.25% overpower damage per point

Dexterity – 0.025% evasion per point

 

Barbarian

Str – 0.1% Skill Damage per point of Strength

Dex – 0.02% Critical Strike Chance per point of Dexterity

Will – 0.1% Resource Generation per point of Willpower

 

Rogue

Dex – 0.1% Skill Damage per point

Int – 0.02% Critical Strike Chance per point

Str – 0.1% Resource Generation per point

 

Sorcerer

Int – Skill Damage per point

Dex – 0.02% Critical Strike Chance per point

Will – 0.1% Resource Generation per point

 

Starter Stats

Barbarian – 10 Str – 8 Dex – 7 Int – 7 – Will

Rogue – 10 Dex – 8 Will – 7 Str – 7 Int

Sorcerer – 10 Int – 8 Will – 7 Str – 7 Dex

 

Offensive Stats

These will be found on equipment, paragon board nodes and other sources, in order to maximize the damage output of builds you will want to stack as much of them accordingly to the type of damage you deal and your build playstyle.

Ranged Weapon Damage – Increases damage dealt with skills utilizing a Ranged Weapon

Dual Wield Weapon Damage – Increases damage dealt while using dual wielding skills

Weapon Speed – The base attack speed of a weapon 

Attack Speed – Increases the attack speed of specified actions by the specified percentage, for example “basic skills gain +40% attack speed” on a legendary power.

Crit Chance – Chance to score a critical hit

Crit damage – Increases the damage multiplier tied to critical hits by the specified amount expressed in percentage

Overpower chance – Chance to proc Overpower, further multiplying the damage dealt

Overpower damage – Increases the damage multiplier tied to Overpower by the specified percentage

Vulnerable damage – Increases the damage multiplier when hitting a Vulnerable enemy (some skills will be able to put enemies into Vulnerable status for few to some seconds, enabling strong “burst windows”)

All Damage Bonus – General damage multiplier increasing all damage dealt by specified percentage

Close Damage Bonus – Damage multiplier stat applied to enemy hit within melee range

Distant Damage Bonus – Damage multiplier stat applied to enemy hit outside of melee range

Injured Enemy Damage Bonus – Increases damage dealt to Injured enemies (with low Life)

Elemental damage – Increases damage multiplier for skills dealing Elemental damage by the specified percentage

Physical/Magic Damage Bonus  – Increases damage multiplier for skills dealing Physical or Magic damage by the specified percentage

Thorns – The amount of total Thorns you have from gear + passives etc. that will be used to determining your total Thorns damage output

Defensive Stats

These are the stats who determine your overall survivability, resistances and resilience to crowd control and status ailment effects. Stacking the correct type of elemental resistances in specific areas or against specific opponents in PvP will naturally be strategically beneficial, Diamonds, Accessories and few pieces of gear provides sources of All Resistances or specific elemental resistances while you could also get by really wanting it more through Intelligence attribute and Paragon Boards also have specific tiles with Resistances/Intelligence

Max Life – Total Life of your character

Max Life Bonus – How much Life you get from Gear and flat bonuses

Life % Bonus – How much total Life percentage bonus you have from across all sources

Passive Life Regeneration – Life Regen amount per second

Evade Chance – Your current chance to evade attacks

Elite Damage Reduction – Source of additional damage reduction applied to damage taken from Elite, Bosses or other Players in PvP

Close Damage Reduction – Damage reduction effect applied to damage taken in Melee range

Distant Damage Reduction – Damage reduction effect applied to damage taken from Ranged attacks or while not in Melee range

Single Elemental Resistance – Reduces damage taken by the specified type of Elemental damage listed, between Fire, Cold, Lightning, Poison, Darkness, Wind

All Resistances – Reduces damage taken by all sources of Elemental damage

Armor Contribution – Total amount of damage reduced by armor expressed in percentage (capped at 50%)

 

Utility & PvP

Max “ClassResource” – Maximum amount of specific Classe resource available (example Mana for Sorceress)

Movement Speed – The current movement speed multiplier tied to your character

PvP damage Reduction 92% – The amount of damage reduction applied damage when attacking or getting attacked by other players

PvP Armor Contribution – Amount of Armor damage reduction contribution for PvP, capped at 65% instead of 50% for PvM

 

Advanced Stats

Lucky Hit Chance – Lucky Hits add special properties to attacks who proc them based on the class, the specialization and other factors such as Passive traits etc.

Cooldown Reduction – Reduces the time on all cooldowns by the specified percentage amount

Resource Cost Reduction – Reduces the amount of resources needed to execute skills

+to Skills – Increases specified Skill level or a whole section of skills from the skill tree by the specified amount (1-2 usually)

Shrine Buff Duration Bonus – Increases Shrine Buff duration

Crowd Control Duration Bonus – Increases duration of Crowd Control effects

Control Impaired Duration Reduction – Reduces the duration of debilitating control impairing effects

 

Stat Boosting Open World Altars

When you find an Altar of Lilith in the open world, your character receives experience and 5 Renown (sort of “currency” that you accumulate to unlock specific regional bonuses which are account-wide) for that zone. All characters on your account get the permanent attribute bonus only once, activating the same Altar with another character won’t give the same bonus twice, the bonus you will get is Altar specific and can be one of these: +2 Dexterity, +2 Strength, +2 Willpower, +2 Intelligence or +8 Life, adding even more importance to the open world exploration.
