Javazon Introduction & Overview
Lightning Fury Amazons a.k.a. Javazons are amongst the most popular builds and have been the favorite ones for Cow level farming for the past decade. With the introduction of the Sunder Charms in patch 2.5, they became even stronger. It is no overstatement that the build is S tier in every meaningful way. Javazons have fast movement speed, unmatched clearspeed at high monster density areas, great survivability, and are also fast Boss killers. They are fun and relatively easy to play with. As the name suggests, the primary attacking skill is Lightning Fury for multiple targets, and Charged Strike for single targets. In case you wear a Lightning Sunder charm, you can clear any area in the entire game, and if you have a mercenary with Infinity, you can do that at an even quicker pace. The build is hardcore viable in the right setup.
🔸 Easily Soloes any game content even in Player 8 difficulty
🔸 Hell Chaos run and Hell Baal run both within 2-3 minutes
🔸 Any Player8 Boss kill in seconds
🔸 Harcore viable
🔸 Easy and Beginner Friendly gameplay
The Javazon is adjustable for Magic Finding, and is ideal for farming any game content like Terror Zones, Cow Level, Chaos Sanctuary, any superunique or Boss monster, or even Travincal. A single shot of Lightning Fury can deliver over 100k area damage, so the build excels at high density areas. Playing them is very beginner friendly, you only need to pay attention to your Call to Arms buffing in time. All you need to do is just spam Lightning Fury by right clicking and Charged Strike by left clicking. Javazons are great choices for ladder starters, as even in budget gear they deliver immense damage.

Javazon Gameplay
Playing solo: Once you have a Lightning Sunder charm, you will be able to easily solo the entire game. Gameplay is beginner friendly, you just run around, or teleport if you have an enigma, and throw Lightning Fury at monsters, while attacking the ones with high life via Charged Strike. Try to get an Infinity for your mercenary to further boost your damage.
Playing in a party: The Javazon can be the highest damage dealing character in almost any party. They are great ladder starters, even without high-end gearing option they can deliver tremendous damage. The only characters that match their area damage are Hammerdins and Blizzard sorcs. You will be welcomed in most Terror zone/ Baal / Chaos Sanctuary / Cow level runs, as you will be the damage dealer of the group.
Playing Hardcore: At Hardcore make sure to use walking instead of running to preserve your defense. You should consider putting some skill points on Passive skills such as Dodge and Avoid. Pre-buff yourself with Call to Arms, and wear a Phoenix Monarch to constantly heal yourself. Either wear an Ethereal upgraded Guardian Angel, or a Thundergod’s Vigor belt with an upgraded Hotspur boots plus a Raven Frost ring to protect yourself against elemental attacks. For defending against melee damage, wear a Crown of Ages socketed with 2*Ber Runes, and a String of Ears or a Verdungo belt. Play carefully, and stay away from bigger monster packs, attack only from a distance. Have an Act2 mercenary with Defiance aura to boost your defense, or Holy Freeze aura for crowd control.
Javazon Breakpoints
Note: Each second in the game consists of 25 frames or “ticks”. Your breakpoints decide how many frames it will take until you can attack/cast a skill/recover from a hit/ block a new hit.
Faster Cast Rate
- If you wear an Enigma and want to teleport to bosses, have at least 32% FCR for 15-frame cast speed, or 48% for 14-frame and 68% for 13-frame. Switch to your Call to Arms+Spirit setup for increased casting speed when teleporting.
Faster Hit Recovery
- Aim for at least 32% FHR (7-frame breakpoint). 52% and 86% FHR are the next breakpoints, you can consider trying to achieve them.
Faster Block Rate
- Having FBR on your gear is very beneficial. Your base FBR is at 5 frames, and the next breakpoints are at 12% and 32%. Going over 32% is unnecessary.

Javazon Stat Points
Strength
Allocate enough Strength points to be able to wear your gear.
Dexterity
Allocate enough Dexterity points to be able to wear your gear. If you wear a Guardian Angel on Hardcore, put enough points on dex to have 75% chance to block.
Vitality
Put all your remaining stat points on Vitality once you are able to wear your gear.
Energy
Don’t put any points on it.
You can re-stat your character by the quest reward of Akara’s Act1 Den of Evil Quest, or by using Token of Absolution.
Javazon Mercenary
You should have an Act2 Holy Freeze Aura mercenary with an Infinity runeword weapon to maximize your damage. If you can’t afford an Infinity, an Insight polearm can also be very useful for mana recovery.
